Paige and Tom brought the party! Not a single person in their seat during the reception dance hours. Can’t say that I’ve seen that happen before. I filled up over 40 gigs of images on my cameras alone – not counting the second shooter. Yikes there’s going to be some editing to come in the near future. Ceremony – St. Thomas Aquinas, reception – The Omni Mandalay – Las Colinas with a gondola exit at the end. More to come soon…

…back at the good ol McKinney Cotton mill for Paige’s bridal session where it’s always guaranteed to get some great shots. The challenge of course for me is taking a different approach each time I shoot there. I love getting new looks out of a tried and true location. Here are a few of my faves.

[FIRST LOOK]: Talk about a hot one … in more ways than one! Mona and Steven’s big day yesterday managed to stay rain-free despite the recent trend, but the heat sure made it’s presence known. Ninety-two degrees in May makes me fearful for this Summer’s steamy temps. YIKES!

I snapped this one just after their ceremony at Highland Park United Methodist on their way to City Place – Uptown Dallas. More to come in the near future.

Congrats Mona+Steven!

Marie and Robby posed it up Texas style over in Downtown Fort Worth where their wedding and reception will be later in the Fall. We braved the crazy gale-force winds and the stormy weather forecast. Luckily we stayed clear of the rain and photographed  their engagement session at The Fort Worth Club, and Sundance Square.

River-side wedding, a busted photobooth pedal, and the pursuit of a perfect wedding….

Chelsea and Sean are true pros at bringing the party – river side style. Their wedding and reception was held in Canyon Lake, TX just South of Austin, TX at the Hideout on the Horse Shoe; a fantastic venue that overlooks the banks of the Guadalupe River. You could even take a dip in the river waters just a few steps away from the main ceremony area. Luckily the wedding was in early April so I didn’t feel the need to ditch my gear an jump on in but I sure could have.

Spencer Selvidge was on deck to lend a very helpful hand photographing the guys hanging out and getting ready before the ceremony.

The Photobooth (JP Style) was a HUGE hit. I don’t think I’ve seen any other wedding guests more excited than Chelsea and Sean’s crew. I even ended up with a busted photobooth pedal at the end of the night. YIKES! You can imagine the crazy photos it captured.
